      Air purifier Roger little provides clean air in rooms of up to 33 m2 – With his gas sensor, this mobile room air purifier continuously measures the quality of the air and immediately detects pollutants such as unpleasant smells, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), fine dust, pollen, viruses and bacteria*.

      Roger little removes 99.3% of coronaviruses (SARS-CoV-2) from the air within an hour**. If the air quality deteriorates, the air quality indicator lets you know by changing colour and adjusts the cleaning performance automatically in intelligent auto mode. The more polluted the air, the higher the level of performance will be.

      The elegant shaped air purifier now has a washable, textile pre-filter – as well as an integrated Sanitized® hygiene function.

      The Dual Filter™ – the heart of the air purifier – is a combination of a HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. The highly efficient H12 HEPA filter removes pollutants such as fine dust, allergens, pollen, viruses and bacteria from the air while the activated carbon filter adsorbs gases present in the air.

      Filtering of viruses

      Test results show that air purifier Roger little from Stadler Form can remove 99.3% of living SARS-CoV-2 viruses** which cause COVID-19 from the air. According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), “when used correctly, air purifiers can help reduce pollutants in the air in residential buildings or enclosed spaces, including viruses.”*** An air purifier like Roger little can help reduce the risk of viral infections and thus provide his family and anyone else in the house with the best possible protection against becoming infected with the coronavirus. An additional test confirmed: air purifier Roger little efficiently filters 99.9% of all influenza A viruses**** and aerosols from the air in 60 minutes (tested in a 28 m3 test chamber).

      CADR 231 m3/h

      The CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) indicates the volume of purified air that the air purifier can produce. Our value was determined by means of independent laboratory tests based on the AHAM standard. Higher CADR values mean that the air purifier can be recommended for larger spaces. The CADR is measured in cubic metres of air per hour. Air purifier Roger little is suitable for rooms of up to 33 m2 and changes the air 3 times per hour. For heavily contaminated room air and for allergy sufferers, Roger little is recommended for rooms of up to 20 m2 – with an air change rate of 5 times per hour.

      Polluted indoor air

      The air indoors is 2–5 times more polluted than the air outside. We spend approx. 90% of our time indoors and are constantly exposed to this pollution. Typical impurities are volatile organic compounds (e.g. formaldehyde), fine and suspended dust, unpleasant odours as well as viruses and bacteria. Allergy sufferers are also troubled by pollen and the excrement of dust mites. Optimally purified air leads to a great sense of wellbeing, improved vitality, and fewer illnesses. Roger, Roger little and Roger big provide the perfect help to free the air of pollutants.

      Air quality indicator

      Roger little shows the quality of the room air. He continuously measures the quality of the air with his sensor. The air quality indicator lets you know if air quality deteriorates by changing its colour (blue = good, orange = medium, red = poor).

      Pre-filter

      The textile pre-filter removes coarse dust particles and pollutants from the air. By doing this, it protects the Dual Filter™ and prolongs its service life. The integrated Sanitized®**** hygiene function protects the preliminary filter against microbial growth. The textile pre-filter can be washed at 30 °C on a cold wash delicate cycle. The antimicrobial protection is guaranteed for at least 20 washes. Based on normal use, we recommend washing the pre-filter every 3 months while allergy sufferers are recommended to wash it once a month.

      Dual Filter™ technology

      The Dual Filter™ is the heart of the air purifier. It is a combination of a HEPA filter (H12) and an activated carbon filter. The HEPA filter removes pollutants out of the air, such as fine dust, pollen, viruses and bacteria. Particularly suitable for allergy sufferers – Roger little bears the ECARF quality seal. The activated carbon filter adsorbs gases present in the air (bad odours, tobacco smoke, formaldehyde, toluene, volatile organic compounds, etc.) and filters them out of the air.

      Filter exchange

      The capacity of the Dual Filter™ is limited, which means that it must be replaced every 8–12 months, depending on its exposure to air and gases. Thanks to the intelligent filter timer, Roger little shows exactly when the filter needs to be replaced.

      Filtering of particles

      Roger little’s Dual Filter™ produced convincing results during the TÜV test (particle cleaning test). Roger little filters 100% of 0.255-micrometre particles (tested based on DIN standard 71460-1:2006). For comparison: a human hair is 80 micrometers thick. So, the filtered particles are 313 times smaller.

      The current version of Roger little (as of 2021) has a familiar elegance about it. With the current version of Roger little, the grille and the pre-filter from the earlier version (up to the end of 2020) have been replaced with an anthracite- or light grey-coloured textile pre-filter with integrated hygiene function.

      **The reduction of the viruses was proven in the independent laboratory of Airmid in the UK. The air purifiers were tested for a period of 60 minutes in a test chamber with a volume of 28.5 m3. The MS2 virus used in the test is an RNA virus like the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Because of its aerosol properties similar to those of human viruses, its viability and its resistance to disinfection, the MS2 virus is often used in air purifier tests as a substitute for viruses with similar dimensions. With a diameter of approximately 25 nm, the MS2 virus is more than 4 times smaller than the SARS-CoV-2 virus which has a diameter of 120 nm. As proof was provided of the reduction of the smaller MS2 viruses, it can be concluded that the larger SARS-CoV-2 viruses would also be reduced at least to the same extent.

    • GENERAL FILTER REPLACEMENT SCHEDULE

      Manufacturer will specify the frequency, the below lists the typical replacement schedule for different filter types and should give you an idea of how frequently different filters have to be replaced.

      • HEPA Filters: Must be replaced every 12 to 15 months
      • Carbon Filters: Must be replaced from three to six months
      • Pre-Filters: Must be cleaned every 30 days and replaced when worn out
      • Permanent Filters: Must be cleaned every three months and replaced when damaged

      WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF THE RED LED ON MY ROGER LIGHTS UP?

      The LED on the front of Roger indicates the current state of the air quality: blue = good, orange = moderate and red = poor. So if the LED turns red, that indicates poor air quality. This can be caused by smoke, odours, gases from e.g. wall paint, dust, pet hair, pollen, too much ventilation, room sprays, perfume or deodorant. Roger’s LED will also turn red if he is positioned close to ultrasonic humidifiers or aroma diffusers as the individual water droplets will be identified as particles.

      IS AN H12 FILTER CLASS SUFFICIENT?

      We address that question in this video.Roger little comes with a HEPA H12 Dual Filter™ as standard. A HEPA H14 filter can be purchased as a separate accessory.

      HOW DO I CLEAN THE TEXTILE PRE-FILTER?

      The textile pre-filter will need to be removed from its plastic frame before it can be washed in a washing machine. The textile pre-filter can be washed at 30°C (cold wash) on a gentle cycle. Let the textile pre-filter dry completely before attaching it to the appliance again. Caution: Never put the pre-filter in the dishwasher!

      HOW FREQUENTLY DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE DUAL FILTER?

      The Dual Filter is a combination of both Carbon and HEPA H12 filter. Due to this, the Dual Filter™ will need to be replaced every 8-12 months
