How do I know if the air purifier is working?
When you turn on the air purifier, the blue LED light on the top will light up and the particle collector will become static. The collector will become dirty on the outside. How fast depends on how polluted the environment is where the air purifier is placed.
Can I keep the IonFlow turned on 24/7?
In indoor environments, the air is exchanged continuously. It will not remain free from pollutants unless the air purifier is on. Since the IonFlow is virtually silent and extremely energy efficient, we recommend leaving it on at all times. For better performance, the air purifier should stand 1 metre from walls and furniture.
Do I need to use the protective guard supplied with the air purifier?
No, the protective guard is optional and not necessary from any safety perspective.
Is the particle collector washable? How often do I need to clean it?
The particle collector is reusable and can be easily rinsed in water and used again and again. How often you need to clean the collector depends on how polluted the environment is where it is placed. In general, the collector should be cleaned approximately once every two weeks but may require more frequent cleaning if used in highly contaminated environments.
